Animal Osteopathy is a branch of manual therapy with the same principles and practice as human osteopathy, evaluating the whole picture, rather than focusing on the site of pain or dysfunction.
It is based on the premise that the body has the ability to self-heal and self-regulate itself; freeing restrictions from muscles, joints and fluid systems.
An animal osteopathic practitioner uses gentle hands-on palpation and manipulation to assess, treat, release pain and restrictions in the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tissues. That way structural symmetry and optimum overall health can be achieved.
Remember to bring any favourite treats for any needed distractions.
HST is included in all the fees.

Sarah has been a health practitioner since 2003, when she began her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. After years of treating clients with Massage Therapy, Reflexology and Usui Reiki (Master), she decided to return to school to learn another approach to treatment.

She attended the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, in Hamilton, where she was classically trained and in 2015 received her Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Science diploma. She loves the challenge of searching for the root cause as to why something is occuring within the body and not chasing the effect.

Sarah continues to appreciate the natural healing ability of the body and its need for balance; body, mind and spirit.

Sarah is an active professional member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) and the Canadian Institute of Classical Osteopathy (CICO) and is Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Sarah makes sure to bring balance into her life through time with her partner and pup Bowser, working out, time with family and friends and taking courses to further her learning.
